Playing with paint is my way of relaxing!  I have always enjoyed creating, even as a kid and it has always brought me great joy!  My medium of choice is acrylic paint and I take inspiration from God's amazing creation and try to capture some element that made me pause, take a breath and SMILE!

Starting 2019 I began the fun process of experimenting with the world of Fluid Acrylic Painting and have enjoyed every moment!  It is a beautiful balance of science and art.  It is filled with playful fun experiments, endless possibilities and mesmerizing creations!

As part of this Fluid Painting journey, I began making jewelry  using my dried Acrylic Skins (which sounds awful, but that's what they are called)  - it is the paint that you pour off of your canvas and typically discard. By giving these Acrylic Skins a new life - it is upcycling at its best!  I think of it as mining for gems amidst leftover paint chaos.  It is therapeutic to let the mind relax, take in all the colors, smile and choose the composition for the next "Mini-Masterpiece" of jewelry.
